The first coffee from your new NIVONA fully automatic coffee machine is just around the corner! Click through our gallery to get started quickly.

Step 1: Place the fully automatic coffee machine on a level, dry surface and connect it to the power supply.

Step 2: Fill the water tank with cool or room temperature water and insert it into the machine.

Step 3: Fill the bean compartment with freshly roasted coffee beans. Make sure the quality is as high as possible and only use untreated beans. The grinder will thank you with a long service life.

Step 4: Switch on the device (the switch is usually located on the front left of the device). You will be asked to make some basic settings. Here you can change the language or select operation with/without water filter.

Step 5: Set the water hardness. This setting is required for the correct descaling intervals. Use the enclosed test strip, which will show you the result after about one minute. After the entry, the appliance system must be rinsed. The display will guide you through all the steps.

Step 6: Your fully automatic coffee machine is now ready for use. For milk drinks, you now need to connect the spout to your milk (cow’s milk, oat milk or other plant-based milk alternative) via the suction hose. We recommend our milk container or NICO 100 Cooler for storing the milk.

Step 7: Now you can make your first coffee! (It is possible that during the first preparation the display will show ‘Add beans’ and the machine will not prepare any coffee. In this case, simply follow the message on the display). NIVONA wishes you perfect coffee enjoyment.
